Unfortunately Kelly did not win the Bafta, which went to Tilda Swinton instead. Never the less, Kelly looked very beautiful and was accompanied by husband Dougie. She also posed for photos with Javier Bardem, who won the best supporting actor award. Congrats to Javier!

And Kelly Macdonald won best British actress in a supporting for playing a young Texas wife in No Country.

Pundits put No Country as the film to beat in the race for Sunday’s BAFTA presented film awards.

Congratulations, Kelly! Great to see her get the credit she truly deserves!

I managed to finally obtain a copy of the November - January issue of the U.S. magazine Mean today, and I made scans for About Kelly. The article is brief but it’s an interesting read (did you know Kelly had a rather mortifying experience auditioning for the role of Trinity in The Matrix?) The three new photos are nothing short of sensational! Most certainly one of my favorite photoshoots of Ms. Macdonald to date!

Since I have not properly introduced myself, I’ll take a quick second to do so. My name is Mycah and I will be helping out my friends Riikka and Stef with the occasional updates around here from now on. Although I have not gotten to see much of Kelly’s work, I am already fascinated by her and can’t wait to learn more about this uniquely talented lady!

So without any further ados, I have updated the gallery with more pictures from the VIP screening of No Country For Old Men and an addition Toronto Film Festival press conference. I also added the very first still of Kelly’s upcoming film Choke.
