Golden Globe Nomination

Kelly Macdonald has been named as one of the nominees at The Golden Globe awards for her heartfelt performance in The Girl in the Cafe. She is nominated in the Best Performance by an Actress in a Mini-Series or a Motion Picture Made for Television category next to Halle Berry, S. Epatha Merkenson, Cynthia Nixon and Mira Sorvino. This is Kelly’s first Golden Globe nomination.

The Golden Globes are given by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, a group of about 90 reporters who work for non-American news outlets. Winners will be announced 16th January 2006.
