Warmest congratulations to Kelly and Dougie for their healthy baby boy, named Freddie Peter Payne!
Kelly Macdonald has given birth to a boy. The 32-year-old star and her husband, Travis bassist Dougie Payne, kept the birth quiet for almost a month before announcing the news on the band’s website.
Freddie Peter Payne was born on March 9, weighing 8lb 11oz.
In an entry in his blog, Dougie, 35, who lives in London with Kelly, wrote: “It is with huge delight and enormous soppy grins that we can tell you we have a wee boy.
“He is blond, blue-eyed, bouncing and beautiful. Mum is doing great and baby is thriving.

And Kelly Macdonald won best British actress in a supporting for playing a young Texas wife in No Country.
Pundits put No Country as the film to beat in the race for Sunday’s BAFTA presented film awards.
